Gabe Reilly-Bates Joins Calfo Eakes & Ostrovsky PLLC as Counsel

Calfo Eakes & Ostrovsky PLLC is pleased to announce that Gabe Reilly-Bates has joined the firm as Counsel.  Gabe joins the firm after serving as law clerk for Chief Judge Brian D. Lynch for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Washington from 2016 to 2018.  Prior to his clerkship, Gabe was a partner at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP in Chicago.  Gabe began his law career as an associate at Jenner & Block LLP.

Gabe graduated cum laude from Northwestern University, School of Law.  He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago, cum laude

Gabe’s practice will focus on a wide variety of complex civil litigation matters.  He has extensive experience litigating commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, conversion, breach of fiduciary duty, trademark, administrative review, consumer protection, ERISA, Fair Labor Standards Act, and probate. 

Gabe is also an experienced bankruptcy litigator, having represented trustees and creditors in various matters, including exemptions, preferential and fraudulent transfers, objections to discharge and the dischargeability of debt, equitable and conventional subrogation, and the assumption and rejection of leases.
