  • Representation of Fortune 100 healthcare company in pending civil consumer protection lawsuit brought by the Washington State Attorney General’s Office for alleged deceptive marketing practices in the sale of medical devices.
  • Representation of Seattle pharmaceutical company CTI Biopharma in breach of contract and negligence action against its Medicare consultant; obtained $12 million settlement on behalf of client.
  • Representation of payment processor Meracord in nationwide consumer class action lawsuit (and in related CFPB enforcement action) alleging breach of contract and consumer protection violations arising out of the processing of payments made by consumer lenders.
  • Representation of CEO of DBSI, Inc. in nationwide securities class action alleging fraud in the sale of billions of dollars in tenant-in-common interests in commercial real estate and related debt offerings.
  • Representation of Olympic Pipeline Company (a joint venture of three publicly traded energy companies) in $500 million business interruption litigation arising out of the closure of a gasoline pipeline by authorities following a major gasoline leak and fire in Bellingham, Washington.
  • Representation of Alaska Native Corporation in suit against former business partners in action alleging that business partners breached their fiduciary duties and defrauded company; action resulted in substantial settlement for company.
  • Representation of Expedia, Inc. in action brought by national commercial brokerage firm for commissions allegedly due on the acquisition of the company’s campus in Seattle; we obtained a dismissal of the complaint at the pleading stage.
  • Representation of Microsoft in summons enforcement action related to IRS transfer pricing audit.
